The "World of Winners" air ticket giveaway campaign, sponsored by Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK), landed on the Chinese Mainland today with a spectacular celebration event held in Shanghai. Newcastle Airport is embarking on a significant expansion plan, in partnership with Commonwealth Bank, which is acting as sole financier. The $240 million deal includes the expansion of Newcastle Airport to enhance domestic capacity and develop a new international terminal and finance to accelerate the activation of Astra Aerolab including the construction of commercial A-grade office and industrial facilities subject to current development applications.
As the roll out of their first flights continues Bonza today took to the skies, from their home base at Sunshine Coast Airport, headed for Mildura saving travellers hours and multiple flights to reach the heart of Victoria’s acclaimed Sunraysia region. This historic flight will be the first time passengers from either destination have been able to fly directly between the Sunshine Coast and Mildura and is a major milestone that will see an increase in passenger numbers arriving into the Sunshine Coast with more than 43,000 seats available between the two destinations.
