The topic of rising airfare trends was one of the focal points of discussions among airport leaders during the Board Meeting of the Airports Council International Asia-Pacific & Middle East (ACI APAC & MID), hosted by Cambodia Airports, in Phnom Penh.

Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) today released the traffic figures of Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) for January 2022. During the month, HKIA handled 71,000 passengers and 391,000 tonnes of cargo, representing year-on-year decreases of 0.1% and 4.7%, respectively.

Last week New Plymouth Airport was awarded Level 2 certification from the Airport Carbon Accreditation programme. The internationally recognised and independently assessed programme acknowledges the efforts of airports to manage and reduce carbon emissions, and consists of 6 levels - Mapping, Reduction, Optimisation, Neutrality, Transformation and Transition.
Airport International Group successfully renewed the Airports Council International (ACI) World Airport Health Accreditation of Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) until December 2022.
