This week, the global community of airport innovators, start-ups, visionary thinkers, researchers and top tech minds gathers at Rome Fiumicino Airport for AIRPORTS INNOVATE 2024. Macau International Airport (MFM) registered in 2019 a 13% increase in its Passenger overall satisfaction against previous year, scoring 4.23 (out of 5) in the Airport Service Quality (ASQ) of Airport Council International (ACI).

Adelaide Airport is set to reduce potable water consumption in its main terminal by 50 per cent – or 10 million litres a year - with the connection of cooling towers to the airport’s stormwater scheme. ACI Asia-Pacific has announced the results of the region’s annual Green Airports Recognition 2020. Taoyuan International Airport (Taoyuan City, Chinese Taipei), Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (Hyderabad, India) and Kaohsiung International Airport (Kaohsiung City, Chinese Taipei) received the highest Platinum recognition for their efforts in water management.

ACI Asia-Pacific congratulates the winners of this year’s Airport Service Quality awards. The largest group of winning airports are from Asia-Pacific and the Middle East with a total of twenty-nine airports receiving recognition for their outstanding customer service excellence.
GMR led Hyderabad International Airport has emerged as the winner of the coveted ACI Airport Service Quality Departures Awards by being adjudged as the ‘Best Airport by Size and Region’ and its first ever ‘Best Airport in Environment & Ambience by Size’, both in Asia-Pacific region for 2019, in its category of 15-25 Million Passengers Per Annum (MPPA).
