Airports Council International Asia-Pacific & Middle East (ACI APAC & MID), an association representing 624 airports, delivered two important presentations at the ICAO Conference of Directors General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) for Middle East region in Riyadh, highlighting the critical need for enhancing air connectivity and seamlessly integrating Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) into the current air transportation framework.
The 8th Beijing Global Friend Airports CEO Forum was held in Beijing Daxing International Airport on 20th September 2022. It is the first in-person Forum held since the outbreak of COVID-19. As the epidemic development and immigration policies vary between different countries, the virtual meeting was held at the same time, civil aviation authorities, international transport organizations, and airports around the world which involve 96 units have participated. Macau International Airport Company Limited (CAM) was invited and represented by Executive Director, Mr. Kan Cheok Kuan and Director of Finance and Administration Department, Ms. Grace Cheang to join the meeting virtually.
The 7th China Airport Service Conference, co-hosted by China Civil Airports Association (CCAA), China Academy of Civil Aviation Science and Technology and CAAC News, was held in Beijing on 5th September 2022. Macau International Airport Company Limited (CAM), as a Board member of the Association, Chief Representative of Beijing Representative Office of CAM Ms. Yuan Weifang represented to attend the conference.
