The Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Travel Mart 2023 took place on 4th October 2023 in New Delhi, India. Representatives from Marketing Department of Macau International Airport Company Limited (CAM) along with the Macao Special Administrative Region Tourism Office and members of the Macao tourism industry attended the event. They engaged in discussions with the local tourism sector regarding the current tourism developments in the India Market. The PATA Travel Mart is one of the significant annual international tourism industry exhibitions, attracts over 1,000 participants from 46 countries and regions worldwide. It brings together participants from local and various regions of the tourism industry and Indian airlines, fostering deeper connections with the Indian tourism industry. This event aims to facilitate and explore business opportunities for the development of medium and long-haul routes from India to Macao.
The seven-day holiday of the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day has come to the end. During this period, the air traffic volume of Macau International Airport (MIA) for seven consecutive days from 30th September to 6th October 2023 has been recorded a total of 116,343 passengers and 975 aircraft movements. The airport handled about 16,620 passengers and 139 flights on average per day. Compared with the Golden Week holiday to the same period in 2019, the overall number of passengers and aircraft movements have recovered by approximately 66% and 63% respectively. According to the data on the number of passengers during the 7-days Golden Week holidays in 2023, passengers of Mainland China routes accounted for 51% of the total, 13% on China Taiwan routes and 36% on Southeast Asia routes.

Low-cost carrier IndiGo is augmenting its flight schedule from Mangaluru International Airport to Hyderabad starting October 19. The airline will operate a third daily flight with an ATR aircraft, to Hyderabad in the form of flight 6E7536. The flight will arrive at Mangaluru at 2.15pm and depart for Hyderabad at 2.35pm.
