- 2022-05-26
The 17th ACI Asia-Pacific Regional Board & General Assembly concluded successfully-- our first in-person meeting in more than two years since the pandemic broke out.
Hosted by Changi Airport Group, the three-day Boards Meeting & General Assembly saw the coming together of aviation leaders from the region to deliberate on solutions to shape the evolution of air travel. They discussed the way forward to ensure our region thrives in the years to come.
The Assembly witnessed participation of over 100 airports’ representatives and World Business Partners, including almost 20 Board members, from Asia-Pacific and the Middle East.
Our members and World Business Partners also discussed on the latest issues related to Decarbonisation and Non-Aeronautical Revenues and Concessions at airports.
One of the highlights of the three-day meeting was the key appointments: Mr. Emmanuel Menanteau as the new President and four new Regional Board Directors.
As one of the key stakeholders in the aviation industry, ACI Asia-Pacific has committed to achieve net zero carbon emissions and develop action plans to meet this commitment by proactively undertaking necessary steps to reduce emissions by using low carbon technologies in airport operations and infrastructure management.
