AI-Driven HR management Takes Center Stage at ACI Asia-Pacific & Middle East HR Committee Meeting in Taipei

AI Driven Innovation in Human Resources Management was the central topic of discussion at the ACI Asia-Pacific & Middle East Regional Human Resources Committee meeting in Taipei.
Hosted by Taoyuan International Airport, more than 40 airport HR leaders discussed how AI will impact the workforce and reshape Human Resources.
The committee also examined how HR can be a guiding force through these changes and ensure that AI improves work without compromising human dignity and well-being.
Mr. Wei-Fuu Yang, Chairman of Taoyuan International Airport Corporation, welcomed the committee during airport tour. He remarked, “As a member of ACI Asia-Pacific & Middle East, Taoyuan International Airport actively participates in the organisation’s five key advocacies and its committees, including Economics; Environment; Safety; Security; and Human Resources, to ensure its operations align with international aviation management trends.”
The committee also invited leading human capital consultancy firm, Mercer, to share the latest industry trends of Artificial Intelligence adaptation and insights, as well as focusing on core issues such as improving efficiency of human resources management; optimising recruitment processes; and cultivating employee engagement through the adoption of artificial intelligence.
Led by newly-elected Chair, Mr. Abdulmajeed M. Alqusaibi, Chief Human Capital Officer at Riyadh Airports, the members discussed the committee workplan 2025 with a focus on committee membership expansion; DEI initiatives and study; promoting young talents within the airport industry; and staff exchange programme.
