  • 2024-03-04

Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) today held “Airport Career Day 2024” at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA). Some 40 recruitment booths were set up by organisations from the airport community offering around 3,000 job vacancies across a wide spectrum including inflight services, aircraft maintenance, airfreight, aviation security and more. One of the themes at today’s event is about job opportunities at the airport for women. More than 4,000 people participated.

Fred Lam, Chief Executive Officer of AAHK, said, “The aviation industry is full of opportunities and offers bright career prospects with a broad range of attractive positions for people with different interests and of diverse ethnic background, genders and ages. Striving to make the airport community a great place to work, we provide different staff facilities to encourage work-life balance and implement family-friendly practices to help employees meet their obligations at home.”

“Airport Career Day 2024” also featured sharing sessions on topics including working at the airport as a female, career planning in the aviation industry, and an overview of the Hong Kong International Aviation Academy.
