First Cleaning Robots in Japanese Airports

  • 05 Oct 2018

Kansai Airports today announced the full-scale introduction of autonomous floor cleaning robots for its day-to-day cleaning operations at Kansai International Airport (KIX). KIX will be home to two models of scrubbing robots which have been chosen after field operational tests on various models. Soon, these self-driving floor scrubbers will be roaming through the airport, keeping the floors spotless.

The full-scale adoption of this remarkably innovative technology will help the airport offer more comfortable spaces for its guests by enabling the cleaning team to focus on more customer-oriented services.

Kansai Airports continues to be a technology-forward company with a strong commitment to providing all airport guests with more convenient, comfortable and enjoyable travel experience.
