Hainan Airlines to Launch New Service to KIX

  • 18 Jan 2019

Kansai Airports today announced that Hainan Airlines (HU) will launch a new service connecting Kansai International Airport (KIX) to Shenzhen with three weekly flights, beginning February 2, 2019.

The carrier, based in Haikou, Hainan, was certified in Skytrax’s 2018 World Airline Awards as a 5-star airline for the eighth consecutive year.

Shenzhen, one of four major cities in mainland China and bordering Hong Kong, is a special economic zone established by the Chinese government and has been in the spotlight for its growth potential for business. With the introduction of the new service, the number of nonstop flights between KIX and Shenzhen will total 15 flights a week, and further growth in air travel demand is expected between the two destinations.

Kansai Airports will continue to expand its global network to provide a convenient and comfortable travel experience for all passengers.
