Kansai Airports Kobe Submits Single-Year and Mid-Term Project Plans for Kobe Airport Operation

Kansai Airports Kobe (*) is pleased to announce that it submitted to Kobe City the single-year project plan (FY2018) and the mid-term project plan (FY2018 – FY2022) for Kobe Airport operation on February 28, 2018 in accordance with Paragraph 5, Article 29 and Paragraph 5, Article 30 of Qualified Project Etc. for Kobe Airport Operation: Agreement to Implement Right to Operate Public Facility Etc.
In the first fiscal year of operating Kobe Airport, beginning April 1, 2018, capital investments will be made to integrate airport management with Kansai International Airport and Osaka International Airport which are operated by Kansai Airports Group. From the second year onwards, the focus of its capital investments will be placed on improvement of convenience and comfort for airport guests, while maintaining safety and security as the highest priority.
