Kansai Airports to Host ACI Asia-Pacific Regional Assembly, Conference & Exhibition in 2023

Kansai Airports Group announced that it will host the 18th ACI Asia-Pacific Regional Assembly, Conference & Exhibition in Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture in 2023.

 

ACI Asia-Pacific representing 131 members operating 617 airports in 49 countries/ territories across Asia and Middle East, is based in Hong Kong. 

 

ACI Asia-Pacific represents airports’ interests with governments and international organizations, develops standards, policies and recommended practices for airports, and provides information and training opportunities to raise standards around the world.

 

ACI Asia-Pacific Regional Assembly, Conference & Exhibition is an international conference where airport and aviation related parties from the Asia- Pacific region and beyond gather to discuss various issues facing the industry, the latest trends, and future prospects. This is the first time for the conference to be held in the Kansai region.

 

As the host of this assembly, Kansai Airports Group will promote meaningful discussions for the further development of the aviation ecosystem and strive to maximize the appeal of the Kansai region, including Osaka, Kansai Expo 2025.

The 18th ACI Asia-Pacific Regional Assembly, Conference & Exhibition
Dates: Tuesday, May 16 - Thursday, May 18, 2023

Venue: Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture
Participants: Up to approximately 300 persons, mainly airport operators and aviation related parties from the Asia-Pacific region

Contents: Keynote speeches, panel discussions, exhibition by airport, aviation and tourism related businesses, etc.

*The 15th ACI Asia-Pacific Regional Assembly, Conference & Exhibition was scheduled to be held in Nara Prefecture in April 2020, hosted by Kansai Airports, but was cancelled due to the spread of COVID-19.
