KIX / ITAMI / KOB Traffic Report for January 2025

The number of international passengers reached 2.29 million*, the highest monthly total since the airport opened, with the number of foreign passengers at 134% and Japanese passengers at 64%, resulting in an overall figure of 112% compared to the same month in 2019.

*The previous record high was 2.25 million in December 2024. The total number of domestic passengers at the three airports was 2.05 million, which was 96% of the same month in 2019 and 109% of the same month in the previous year.

The international cargo movements were 94%, while the handling volume was 106% of the same month in the previous year.
