KIX, ITAMI, KOBE July 2022 Traffic Report

On international flights, both the number of inbound and outbound passengers are on an upward 
trend due to the gradual easing of entry restrictions. International passenger volume exceeded 
100,000 for the first time in two years and four months since March 2020, although passenger flow 
remains limited due to the prolonged impact of COVID-19.

The total number of domestic passengers at the three airports recovered from the previous month, 
reaching 80% of the level before the COVID-19 pandemic (July 2019). At ITAMI, the number of 
domestic passengers exceeded 1 million for the first time in two years and five months since 
February 2020.

The number of international cargo arrivals and departures remain at a high level, exceeding 2,000 
per month.
