Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) in Collaboration With Maldives Blood Services Hosted a Blood Donation Camp at Velana International Airport

Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) in collaboration with Maldives Blood Services hosted a blood donation camp at Velana International Airport.

As per MACL’s commitment under corporate social responsibility, the aim of this camp was to donate blood to thalassemia patients while increasing awareness among MACL staff.   A good number of employees enthusiastically participated in the event.  

The camp was inaugurated by Deputy Managing Director, Ibrahim Thoha. During the inaugural speech, Thoha emphasized the significance of donating blood, highlighting its dual impact of aiding thalassemia children, and benefiting the donors themselves. He encourages everyone to recognize the importance of this noble cause and lend a helping hand to the thalassemia patients. 

MACL's blood donation camp is part of ongoing commitment to the welfare of our community. By extending support to those in need, MACL strengthens its role as a vital contributor to the community, while also championing an ethos of inclusivity and accessibility.
