Muscat Airport Bazar event comes to an end

  • 2023-03-06

The Bazar activities took place at the front façade of Muscat International Airport on the ground floor, from 4pm to 11pm each day, and free parking was provided for visitors in parking platforms P5 and P6. The Bazar participants presented various goods, including food and beverages, handicrafts, and other market items. It should be noted that this Bazar is the first of its kind at all of the Sultanate of Oman’s airports.

Faisal bin Sultan Al Maamari, Vice President Aeronautical & Non-Aeronautical Revenue, commented, “This event comes within the framework of Oman Airports' keenness to support SME owners, and to introduce their contributions to the society, while supporting sales of their products and projects.”

Al Maamari pointed out that Oman Airports seeks, through this event, to enhance its role in social responsibility, revitalize the various programs and services it provides – especially to SME owners – and enrich recreational and service activities for society under the umbrella of the Omani airports network.

Muscat Airport Bazar provided a variety of unique experiences, and offered visitors many opportunities to discover beautiful new products created and sold by Omani SMEs. The Bazar also presented an opportunity to enjoy delicious Omani sweets and foods, besides the various recreational and educational activities on the go.
