Perth Airport’s A/CEO Kate Holsgrove said that Nexus Airlines is providing increased air connectivity between Perth and Geraldton enabling greater access for all to Western Australia’s mid-west region.
“Perth Airport forms a critical link to Western Australia’s regions, and we look forward to working with Nexus Airlines to further connect Perth and deliver more regional routes.”
“The State Government’s initiative to expand the State’s Inter-Regional Flight Network is a fantastic opportunity to grow regional tourism in Western Australia.
“Geraldton was awarded Silver in the Western Australian Top Tourism Town Awards 2023 and the new service provides Perth residents with another option to visit this beautiful region.
Passengers of Nexus Airlines' Geraldton-Perth service will also have access to the State Government's popular Regional Airfare Zone Cap Scheme – which promotes travel for those living in regional WA.
The Perth-Geraldton service is operated by a Dash 8 —400 which seats up to 76 passengers and adds nearly 95,000 seats to the market each year.
