Legend states that Kings are born and not made.  In the vibrant heart of Hong Kong, where gastronomic legends are born and made, the iconic XO sauce is the King of Sauces made with pride and passion.  Plaza Premium First takes great pride in unveiling its signature XO Sauce, a cherished secret recipe, meticulously crafted with passion, which will be available in its elegant packaging at the Plaza Premium Lounges and Plaza Premium Group dining venues at the Hong Kong International Airport from January 27, 2025 onwards.

Artisan Craftsmanship
Handcrafted by the skilled Chinese chefs at Plaza Premium Lounges, this sauce is a labour of love, prepared without the aid of machines or factories for nearly two decades. Since its inception in 2007, the XO Sauce has become an indispensable part of the culinary repertoire and is wholly made and cooked in the kitchens of the Plaza Premium Lounges at the Hong Kong International Airport. Inspired by the signature fish ball noodle soup served in the company’s airport lounges in Hong Kong for almost 20 years, it became a perennial favourite among travellers. Hence, the chefs at Plaza Premium Lounges envisioned this sauce as the perfect companion to elevate its flavours.
