Collaboration Opportunity with ACI Asia-Pacific for Airport Industry Outlook (RFP)
- 2021-11-16
The COVID-19 global pandemic has represented a crisis of unprecedented proportions for many industries worldwide. Civil aviation remains one of the hardest-hit global industries since the beginning of the crisis, followed by the imposition of travel restrictions and suspension of flights in a global effort to contain the spread of the virus.
ACI Asia-Pacific plans to develop a new analytical product - “Airport Industry Outlook in the Middle East and Asia-Pacific” (the Outlook). This report intends to provide an up-to-date snapshot of the airport business health in the Region with a short-term analysis of the key industry trends.
ACI Asia-Pacific seeks to commission a consultant to develop the Outlook once every quarter, initially for the period of 2022–2023, extendible to another year, subject to the approval of ACI Asia-Pacific. The scope of the Outlook implies, but is not limited to, the following major components:
- Airport traffic: aircraft movements, passengers and cargo volumes
- Supply-side: seat capacity, airfares and connectivity
- Demand-side: passenger profile analysis
- Industry microeconomic analyses and airport financial performance
- Performance indicators
- Privatization
