Sharjah Airport employees conducting FOD removal procedure in collaboration with Sharjah Aviation Services

With the participation of His Excellency Ali Salim Al Midfa, Chairman of Sharjah Airport Authority (SAA), and representatives from strategic partners, a team from SAA, in coordination with Sharjah Aviation Services, conducted Foreign Object Debris (FOD) removal at the airport. This included a field tour on the runway and aircraft apron to ensure their safety and prevent any potential risks during takeoff or landing.

This periodic procedure serves as a proactive mission to build a safe and clean work environment, prevent safety-related accidents, and comply with international and national regulations issued by the International Civil Aviation Organization and the General Civil Aviation Authority. Sharjah Airport employees gather to start removing any solid debris or foreign objects, emphasizing that this action is part of the agenda of tasks carried out by SAA and its strategic partners regularly to enhance awareness in risk management and safety levels in all operational processes.
