  • 02 Nov 2018

Kansai Airports is happy to announce that Sichuan Airlines will start new service between Kansai International Airport (KIX) and Xi’an, starting November 30, 2018.

For Sichuan Airlines, a Chengdu-based carrier, this will be the second destination after Chengdu in China.

Xi’an—a starting point of the Silk Road—has many historical and cultural attractions to offer. With the launch of new service by the carrier, 12 weekly flights will be available on the KIX-Xi’an route and further growth in travel demand is expected between the two destinations.

Kansai Airports will continue to expand its network to provide a more convenient and comfortable travel experience for all passengers.
