VietJet to Launch Daily Flights to Ho Chi Minh from KIX

  • 23 Jul 2018

Kansai Airports is delighted to announce that VietJet Air, Vietnam's first and largest low-cost carrier, will operate daily flights between Kansai International Airport (KIX) and Ho Chi Minh, beginning December 14, 2018, making Ho Chi Minh the second Vietnamese destination from KIX after Hanoi.

Based in Hanoi, VietJet has been rapidly expanding its flight network both domestically and internationally. With a fleet of 60 aircraft, the carrier operates 385 flights each day. The new service connecting to the city—the nation’s center of business and finance with a population of over 10 million people—is expected to bring more business and leisure travelers to Kansai.

Kansai Airports will continue to explore opportunities to expand its global network including low-cost flights, providing a more convenient and comfortable passenger experience for customers.
