Kansai Airports will carry out an emergency exercise at the Fueling Center in Kansai International Airport (KIX) on June 24 simulating that a massive earthquake has affected the airport’s aircraft fueling facilities.
Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) today announced the traffic figures of Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) for May 2022. During the month, HKIA handled 170,000 passengers, representing a year-on-year increase of 186.1%, although passenger volume remained significantly lower than the pre-pandemic levels. Cargo throughput and flight movements recorded 365,000 tonnes and 10,440, respectively, representing decreases of 9.7% and 4.0% compared to the same month in 2021.
Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) welcomed on Thursday 16 June, 2022, the first flyadeal flight from Jeddah - underscoring ongoing efforts to expand its airline and destination networks, while offering passengers diverse, affordable travel options. The Saudi low-cost airline will operate daily direct routes between Amman and Jeddah and Riyadh.
Kansai Airports Group announced the results of airport employee survey conducted at Kansai International Airport (KIX), Osaka International Airport (ITAMI), and Kobe Airport (KOBE).
