Brisbane Airport (BNE) has ranked in the top 10 airports in the world within its category in this year’s OAG Punctuality League report. The Punctuality League is based on 58 million flight records using full-year data from 2018 to create a ranking of the best on-time performance (OTP) for the world’s largest airports and airlines.
Hong Kong International Aviation Academy (the Academy) announced it has received the Full Membership Certificate for the TRAINAIR PLUS Programme (the Programme) from the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). The certification recognises the Academy’s capability to develop ICAO-compliant training packages.
Having been the first airports (Kansai International Airport, Osaka International Airport) in Japan accredited at Level 2 under the Airport Carbon Accreditation1 program in 2016, Kansai Airports Group is pleased to announce that KIX and ITAMI have upgraded to Level 3 certification of the ACA, while Kobe Airport has newly entered the program at Level 2 on December 6, 2018.

Hamad International Airport has successfully retained its Airport Carbon Accreditation at Level 3 for another year. HIA’s renewal comes after successfully reaching Level 3 ‘Optimisation’ status last year and becoming the first airport in the GCC and only the second in the Middle East and North Africa region to reach Level 3 accreditation.
