Airports Council International Asia-Pacific & Middle East (ACI APAC & MID), an association representing 624 airports, delivered two important presentations at the ICAO Conference of Directors General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) for Middle East region in Riyadh, highlighting the critical need for enhancing air connectivity and seamlessly integrating Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) into the current air transportation framework.
From 23rd –25th of February, Oman Airports hosted what proved to be a successful Muscat Airport Bazar under the patronage of State Council Member Honourable Lujaina Mohsin Darwish, and with participation by a number SME owners.

Hyderabad Airport has been adjudged as the ‘Best Airport of 15 to 25 Million Passengers Per Annum (MPPA)’ in the Asia-Pacific region for 2022. ACI World’s globally recognized Airport Service Quality (ASQ) program is the world’s leading airport passenger service and benchmarking programme measuring passengers’ satisfaction while they are travelling through an airport.
In recognition of its commitment to customer experience excellence, Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) received the title of ‘Best Airport by Size and Region: Middle East’ for airports serving five to 15 million passengers for the fifth time in its history, in addition to the newly introduced title of ‘Most Enjoyable Airport in the Middle East’. The accolades were awarded by Airports Council International World (ACI World) based on the 2022 Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Survey, which is part of the world’s leading airport customer experience measurement and benchmarking program.
