Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) today released Hong Kong International Airport’s (HKIA) air traffic statistics for July 2024. Bangalore International Airport Ltd, the operator of Kempegowda International Airport Bengaluru (BLR Airport), is pleased to announce the expansion of Japan Airlines (JAL) Group’s flight services from BLR Airport. To accommodate rising demand, JAL will increase its operations to five flights per week on the Tokyo - Bengaluru route, up from the current three flights per week, beginning the last week of October.
Airport International Group announced that Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) welcomed 952,177 passengers (PAX) in July 2024, marking a 7.5% decline as opposed to 2023. During the same month, QAIA registered 7,592 aircraft movements (ACM) and handled 6,924 tons of cargo, down 6.8% and up 32.1%, respectively, against the previous year.
