This week, the global community of airport innovators, start-ups, visionary thinkers, researchers and top tech minds gathers at Rome Fiumicino Airport for AIRPORTS INNOVATE 2024. Aerovision Technology Limited (ATL) and Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited (Hactl) have signed a collaboration agreement to install ATL’s patented intelligent cargo thermal detection system at suitable locations within Hactl’s SuperTerminal 1. It is also the world's first air cargo terminal equipped with an intelligent cargo thermal detection system, which will further enhance the safety and reliability of cargo inspection to address the increasing volume of hazardous air cargo and mitigate potential fire risks.
Kansai Airports is pleased to announce that Kansai Airports and its partner SECOM will carry out a proof of concept of an aircraft security system with surveillance cameras at Kansai International Airport (KIX) from December 18, 2023.
