Categories

 

ACI Asia-Pacific & Middle East offers two membership categories for airports. 

 

  • A Regular membership is for airports who operate one or more airports in the Asia-Pacific & Middle East region.
  • A Regular member of other geographical regions of ACI who wishes to participate in the affairs of another region may join as an Affiliate Member.

A third category, Associate, is available to non-airports such as associations, non-commercial organisations, governmental or non-governmental or academic institutions. 

 

 

Regular 

Annual Renewal

  • Operate one or more airports with commercial air service and primarily responsible for the management, operation and policy setting of the entire airside and/ or terminal building operations of the airport(s)
  • Located in Asia-Pacific & Middle East region

Membership dues are based on the number of traffic units attributed to the airport(s). The calculation of membership dues for any given year is based on the traffic unit of three years previously.

 

A single traffic unit is defined as:

 

  • One enplaned passenger
  • One deplaned passenger
  • One hundred kilograms (220 pounds) of enplaned cargo (freight + mail)
  • One hundred kilograms (220 pounds) of deplaned cargo (freight + mail)

Affiliate

Annual Renewal

  • Regular Member of another ACI geographical region
  • Desire to participate in the affairs of Asia-Pacific & Middle East
