Airport Authority Continues to Take Forward Airport City Development

  • 2025-02-26

Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) continues to take forward the Airport City development, which is mentioned in the Financial Secretary’s Budget today, and has introduced a new brand, SKYTOPIA, for promoting the project to the international business community. AAHK’s vision is to develop SKYTOPIA into a landmark of its own and a world-leading destination to attract visitors and propel Hong Kong’s economy.

The Budget also mentions the deepening of collaboration between Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) and Zhuhai Airport, and the development of the “HKIA Dongguan Logistics Park”. AAHK will continue to pursue these projects with a view to further strengthening HKIA’s position as a leading international aviation hub in the Greater Bay Area.

Meanwhile, AAHK will explore the possibility of providing professional services in support of developing Hong Kong into the first aircraft parts processing and trading centre in Asia. The Hong Kong International Aviation Academy will expand its training programmes to cover C919 aircraft-related aspects as part of Hong Kong’s efforts to help C919 enter the global market.
