CAM Chairman of EC and Delegation visits CAAC Central and Southern China Regional Administration, ATMB and China Southern Airlines for business exchange

Mr. Chan Weng Hong, Chairman of the Executive Committee of Macau International Airport Company Limited (CAM), Mr. Chu Tan Neng and Mr. Lei Si Tai, Executive Directors and delegation paid a visit to Mr. Li Shuangchen, Director of CAAC Central Southern Regional Administration and Mr. Nie Jianxiong, Director of CAAC Central Southern Air Traffic Management Bureau (ATMB) in Guangzhou on 12th March 2024 respectively and conducted business discussions on the coordinated management of the Greater Bay Area, interconnection of airports in the region and emergency rescue works.

They also had in-depth exchanges with delegation of ATMB on the aspects of airspace management in the Greater Bay Area, low-altitude economy. Subsequently, CAM delegation met with Mr. Qu Guangji, Deputy General Manager of China Southern Airlines Group Company Limited and Mr. Wang Zhen, Director of Marketing Management Committee. Both parties had business communication on developing route services cooperatively, in which China Southern Airlines plans to launch a new route service between Beijing Daxing Airport and Macau at the beginning of April this year (2024).
