The topic of rising airfare trends was one of the focal points of discussions among airport leaders during the Board Meeting of the Airports Council International Asia-Pacific & Middle East (ACI APAC & MID), hosted by Cambodia Airports, in Phnom Penh.
Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL), the operator of Kempegowda International Airport Bengaluru (BLR Airport), has been assigned the prestigious AAA rating (Stable Outlook) by ICRA Ltd, India Ratings and Research Pvt Ltd and Crisil Ratings Ltd.
Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) was recently honored during the ACI World Customer Experience Summit and Exhibition held in Atlanta, USA, receiving a prestigious award and accreditation acknowledging its commitment to customer experience excellence.
Dubai International’s (DXB) work to cut carbon emissions has been recognised with a Level 4 “Transformation” accreditation from Airports Council International (ACI) Airport Carbon Accreditation (ACA) programme, placing it, as of September 2024, among the top 5% of participating airports worldwide to achieve this status.
Wellington Airport has achieved Level 4+ Certification from the Airport Carbon Accreditation programme for the first time, up from last year’s Level 2 accreditation.
MATAR, the Qatar Company for Airports Operation and Management, has achieved a significant milestone in environment sustainability by receiving the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold Certification, for Hamad International Airport’s Central Concourse, which includes the indoor tropical garden – ORCHARD. The certification showcases the airports commitment to sustainability and environmentally responsible construction practices.
Queenstown Airport’s commitment to sustainability and progress towards decarbonisation has been acknowledged with Level 4+ Airport Carbon Accreditation from the Airports Council International.
Bahrain Airport Company Chief Executive Officer, Mohamed Yousif AlBinfalah commented on the achievement, “Achieving Level 4 accreditation is a testament to our dedication to delivering a world-class passenger experience at BIA. This recognition from ACI alongside the Airport Accessibility Enhancement Accreditation, further fuels our commitment to ongoing enhancement and innovation as we strive to set new benchmarks for service excellence and inclusivity in the region.”
Macau International Airport (MIA) is proud to announce that it has been awarded and upgraded to the Airport Customer Experience Level 3 Accreditation by Airports Council International (ACI) on 20th September 2024. This significant achievement underscores the commitment of MIA to providing an excellent and seamless experience for all passengers.
Flight check of the reconfigured Centre Runway at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) was successfully completed, marking a key milestone of readiness for the three-runway operation.
