CAM Representatives Participated in the 18th China Air Cargo Summit

Macau International Airport Company Limited (CAM) representatives participated in the 18th China Air Cargo Summit in Shanghai from 19th to 21st November 2024. The summit brings together approximately 300 delegates from about 30 countries and regions around the world. The professional views were expressed on topics of air cargo industry outlook, cargo hub development, cargo automation and digitalization, to pharma and perishables logistics, Unit Load Device (UDL) management, and further to trans-border ecommerce logistics.
The three-day summit allowed CAM representatives to have deepen understanding on global air cargo trends, advanced technology applications in cargo hubs, and the development potential of air cargo market of China, as well as to engage with the global aviation industry, enhance exchanges and seek for cooperation opportunities.
The air cargo market of China has increased in recent years, the international air exports of China have been boosted by cross-border e-commerce trade, and the proportion of freighter transport capacity has also increased. As part of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area airport cluster, Macau International Airport will make full use of its advantages in traffic rights and actively develop diversified routes to help promote the development of the air cargo industry of China.
Representatives from CAM included Mr. Frank Wu, Director of Logistic and General Aviation Development Department (LGD) and Mr. Corey Chan, Administrative Assistant of LGD.
