CAM Supports “Online Walk for a Million” Organized by the Charity Fund from the Readers of Macao Daily News

Macau International Airport Company Limited (CAM) as a social enterprise, is always sparing no effort to support charitable community events and actively participating “Walk for Million” each year. On 29th November 2022, Executive Director of CAM Mr. Kan Cheok Kuan and his delegation visited the Charity Fund from the Readers of Macao Daily News and donated MOP 100,000. President of the Charity Fund Ms. Ho Teng Iat, President of the Directive Council Mr. Vong Kok Seng represented to receive the check.
President of the Charity Fund Ms. Ho expressed that the COVID-19 pandemic has lasted for nearly three years and has gravely wounded Macau’s economy with serious consequences impacting social and economic development. As a non-governmental charitable organization, the Charity Fund from the Readers of Macao Daily News devotes to help the need and to ride out the difficult times with the public. President of the Directive Council Mr. Vong also mentioned that more people need help during the crisis. The Charity Fund will continue to stay true to its original aspiration, to care one another and help everyone in need getting through tough times. In response to the government’s epidemics prevention requirements, the Charity Fund from the Readers of Macao Daily News will continue to organize the 39th Walk for Million in form of “online walk”. Executive Director of CAM Mr. Kan said that CAM has always been an active role in giving back to our communities by supporting various charity activities. CAM continues to invite our team members and airport entities forming a team of MIA to join this virtual charity walk and fully support this annual charity event on 11th December 2022.
