Cathay Pacific Boosts Its Frequency Into Perth

  • 2024-10-28

Cathay Pacific has increased its frequency into Western Australia with the airline now operating 11 services per week between Perth and Hong Kong.

Perth Airport’s Chief Commercial & Aviation Officer Kate Holsgrove said that Cathay Pacific is an important airline partner, and the additional services shows that the airline remains committed to connecting Perth and Western Australia to Hong Kong and beyond.

“The airline’s decision to operate more flights to Perth shows the confidence that the international aviation market has in Perth as a destination.

“Business travellers, students, tourists, and those visiting family and friends are key focus sectors between Perth and Hong Kong.

“The increased number of services results in 420,000 seats being available on the route per year and provides local exporters with crucial cargo capacity between Perth and Hong Kong and North Asia,” said Ms Holsgrove.
