Centrair Obtains AHA Certification for Measures against Infectious Diseases

Central Japan International Airport Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce the receipt of the "Airport
Health Accreditation (AHA) Program" accreditation conducted by the Airports Council International
(ACI) thanks to the various countermeasures against infection that have been implemented in the
airport following guidelines. Being Chubu Centrair the third Japanese airport to receive this
accreditation after Narita International Airport and Fukuoka Airport.

 

The ACI Airport Health Accreditation (AHA) is an international accreditation that assess how
aligned airports health measures are with the ACI Aviation Business Restart and Recovery
guidelines and ICAO Council Aviation Restart Task Force recommendations and the industry best
practices.


The certification was achieved after a thorough evaluation of a wide range of 122 infectious
disease countermeasures considered international standards, such as securing distances, efforts to
eliminate contact, and providing information to visitors. In particular, the cleaning and disinfection of
the terminal and measures to prevent infection among employees during work have been highly
evaluated.
