Etihad Airways to launch new service in KIX! 5 weekly flights between KIX and Abu Dhabi

Kansai Airports is delighted to announce that Etihad Airways (EY) will launch a new Kansai-Abu Dhabi route (5 flights per week) on October 2, 2023.

Etihad Airways was established in 2003 as the national airline of the United Arab Emirates and operates passenger and cargo flights from its home base in Abu Dhabi to the Middle East, Africa, Europe, Asia, Australia, and North America. This is the first direct flight from Kansai International Airport to Abu Dhabi International Airport, and the new service is expected to further stimulate tourism and business in the United Arab Emirates, as well as demand for connecting flights to other regions.

Kansai Airports Group will continue its efforts to expand airline network to enhance customer convenience and create a comfortable and enjoyable travel experience.
