Haneda Airport Achieves ACI Airport Health Accreditation for Measures Against COVID-19 Infection

Haneda Airport has received the certification under the Airport Health Accreditation (AHA) program on April 8, 2021.

This accreditation program is conducted by Airport Council International (ACI) and provides an assessment of how aligned airports’ health measures are with the guidelines and recommendations by International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) along with industry best practices. This international certification is evaluated and certified based on 122 items of the guideline, including preventive measures against infections to customers and employees, cleaning, securing social distance in the terminal, and installation of contactless equipment. 

Haneda Airport will continue to work together with the relevant authorities and airport stakeholders to take measures against COVID-19.
