Kansai Airports Releases FY2022 Financial Results

Kansai Airports today announced its consolidated financial results for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2023, posting operating revenues of 99.9 billion yen, operating loss of 14.8 billion yen, ordinary loss of 25.6 billion yen and net loss of 19.0 billion yen.

In this fiscal year, although the impact of the COVID-19 crisis continues and the situation remains difficult, air passenger demand has increased significantly due to the relaxation of border measures, and operating revenue increased by 50% compared to the previous fiscal year. In addition, due to our continued efforts to reduce expenses, operating profit increased by 18.6billion yen, ordinary profit increased by 17.1 billion yen, and net profit will increased by 11.3billion yen.
