MIA Staff Visited the National Security Education Exhibition

Macau International Airport always actively participates in social activities on national education. CAM has participated in every exhibition event since the 1^_st National Security Education Exhibition held in year 2018, which enriched the staff’s understanding of the background and connotation of the holistic view of national security and strengthened their awareness of national security.

On 24th April 2023, Chairman of the Executive Committee of Macau International Airport Company Limited (CAM) Mr. Chan Weng Hong with four Executive Directors Mr. Chu Tan Neng, Mr. Kan Cheok Kuan, Mr. Lei Si Tai and Mr. Leung Henry Yee Hang led almost 50 company colleagues and staffs from Airport Information Management Solutions and SEMAC Security Company to visit the National Security Education Exhibition, which was co-organized by Macau SAR Government and Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macau SAR.

The exhibition with total of six themes, namely“Great achievements in the Country’s development”; “Maintain integrity and innovative, carry forward the past and keep up the future, promote the modernization of the national security system and capabilities”; “Moving forward in the face of adversity and against the difficulties, to defend the national security and social stability effectively”; “Putting efforts to advance the stability and firmness in the defence of national security”; “Pragmatic cooperation and joint development, step into the future with confidence”; and “Adhering to the tradition and continuing to encourage the love of Motherland and Macau”. Participants were provided with a valuable opportunity to review the development journey that the country and Macau in the fight against the pandemic of the century under the guidance of the holistic view of national security over the past year. In addition, participants have also been updated with the progress and effective measures which Macau SAR government has put in place for safeguarding national security and ensuring the consistency of implementation regarding the “One country, two systems” principle in Macau. The exhibition also displayed the winning works of the “My Notion on Cultural Security” Writing and Short Video Competition held earlier, demonstrating the strong national identity and cultural confidence of Macau youths.
