Qatar Airways to resume the Kansai-Doha route - Daily service from March 1, 2024

Kansai Airports is delighted to announce that Qatar Airways (QR) will resume flights between Kansai and Doha on March 1, 2024.

Qatar Airways currently flies to more than 160 destinations around the globe, and its base airport, Doha Hamad International Airport, is one of the Middle East's leading airports and was named the "World's Best Airport." This direct flight from Kansai International Airport (KIX) to Doha, Qatar, (DOH) is the first in nearly 8 years since 2016. The Kansai-Doha route is expected to bring a lot of transit passengers, with KIX as a gateway connecting Europe and Asia. With the high convenience, this route is expected to boost demand in various areas such as tourism and business.
