  • 2024-01-11

Riyadh Airports Company (RAC), operator and manager of Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport (KKIA), has announced that it was awarded the European Standard Parking Award (EPA) in Terminal 5.

The EPA Award was presented from the European Parking Association (EPA) for car parks that have reached international standards in the parking area. These standards include customer care, energy and environment, pedestrian access, wayfinding, lighting, and security; and the onsite assessment was conducted by an independent auditor.

Riyadh Airports is the first recipient of this award outside of Europe and has joined a select number of international European airport winners.

Abdulaziz Al Asaker, Chief of Commercial Officer at RAC said: “RAC strives to deliver an excellent customer experience while travelling through KKIA. This award demonstrates our commitment to enhancing our car parking products and meet the highest international standards.”
