Sky Day Festival 2023 to be held at KIX

Kansai Airports is pleased to announce that the Sky Day Festival 2023 will be held on September 23, organized by the KIX Sky Day and Sky Season Committee, to observe Sky Day.

Sky Day began in 1992 with the aim of encouraging more people to understand and be more curious about aviation, with Sky Day on September 20 and Sky Season from September 20 to 30. On the festival date, there will be exhibitions at booths by participating organizations and other events such as uniform try-on experience, showcase of special vehicles, drug dog demonstrations, and greetings by “Sorayan”, official character of Kansai Airports. These are fun events for children as well as adults, so please take this opportunity to come to KIX. Kansai Airports Group will continue to collaborate with our stakeholders to communicate the attraction of airports and travel.

Contents:

Uniform try-on experience, showcase of special vehicles (GSE vehicles, police cars, fire trucks, air conditioning vehicles and others), drug dog demonstrations, display of meteorological instruments, mobile rescue drill demonstrations, greetings by Sorayan, VR experience, goods sales, etc.
