Special Aviation Class with a Close-up Look at Aircraft in ITAMI

  • 2023-10-02

J-AIR Co., Ltd. (“J-AIR” based in Ikeda, Osaka; President Shunsuke Honda), JALPAK Co., Ltd. (“JALPAK” based in Shinagawa, Tokyo; President Noboru Hirai), and Kansai Airports (based in Izumisano, Osaka; Representative Director and CEO Yoshiyuki Yamaya) are delighted to announce that the aviation class using actual aircraft and the service road tour in the restricted area will be offered on November 18 and 19, 2023.

This event was organized by pilots and cabin crew of J-AIR which operates domestic flights with its base at Osaka International Airport (ITAMI) in the hope of bringing airplanes and airports closer to the public.

You can enjoy a bus ride on the service road alongside the runways which is usually off limits to the public. The bus ride will be accompanied by a J-AIR pilot who will talk about how pilots navigate takeoffs and landings from the pilot's point of view. Furthermore, during the hangar tour, we will offer special aviation classes, including aviation classes by pilots using a real airplane and cockpit tours by mechanics.

In addition, you will receive an event-limited lanyard (with a card holder) and a 500-yen shopping voucher you can use at restaurants and stores at ITAMI.
