
Talent from Bangalore International Airport recognised with ACI Asia-Pacific & Middle East Young Executive Award 2025

Mr. Naga Satyanarayana Vattipalli of Bangalore International Airport Limited, operator of Kempegowda International Airport Bengaluru, has been adjudged as the ACI Asia-Pacific & Middle East Young Executive Award 2025. The topic of this year’s programme is “How Artificial Intelligence will Transform Airports and Customer Experience”.
Mr. Vattipalli will be receiving the honor at the ACI Asia-Pacific & Middle East Assembly, Conference and Exhibition in New Delhi tomorrow.
In his award-winning paper, he explores the opportunities and challenges associated with airports adopting Artificial Intelligence and related technologies to improve the overall passenger experience and regulatory and ethical considerations, sustainability, and environmental impact.
Mr. Stefano Baronci, Director General of ACI Asia-Pacific & Middle East, said: “We congratulate Mr. Vattipalli for this recognition. The panel of judges also awarded Honourable Mention to Mr. Patrick Su from Airport Authority Hong Kong on his research paper entitled “Revolutionising Aviation: The Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Airports and Passenger Experience. His research paper examines the impact of AI on airports and customer experiences.
The jury panel comprised five reputed industry leaders including: Mr. Ayman Abdulaziz AboAbah, CEO of Riyadh Airports Company, Chair of the panel; Ms. Carrie Hurihanganui, Chief Executive of Auckland Airport; Ms. Tine Haas, Director Airports & Aviation of Dornier Consulting International GmbH; Dr. Manjit Singh, Deputy Regional Director at ICAO Asia and Pacific (APAC) Office; and Mr. Stefano Baronci, Director General at ACI Asia-Pacific & Middle East.
Introduced in 2009, the ACI Asia-Pacific & Middle East Young Executive Award (YEA) is an annual research paper competition that encourages young talents in the Asia-Pacific and Middle East regions to contribute innovative solutions throughout the entire airport experience.
