The topic of rising airfare trends was one of the focal points of discussions among airport leaders during the Board Meeting of the Airports Council International Asia-Pacific & Middle East (ACI APAC & MID), hosted by Cambodia Airports, in Phnom Penh.
Kempegowda International Airport Bengaluru (KIAB/BLR Airport) has opened a new road to Arrivals for Terminal 1 (refer map). The road is now operational and visitors to the airport can use it as there would be smooth flow of traffic to reach the Arrivals area.

Vice President of the Maldives, Faisal Naseem has officially inaugurated the new Code F runway and Noovilu Seaplane Terminal developed at Velana International Airport (VIA). The 8th Beijing Global Friend Airports CEO Forum was held in Beijing Daxing International Airport on 20th September 2022. It is the first in-person Forum held since the outbreak of COVID-19. As the epidemic development and immigration policies vary between different countries, the virtual meeting was held at the same time, civil aviation authorities, international transport organizations, and airports around the world which involve 96 units have participated. Macau International Airport Company Limited (CAM) was invited and represented by Executive Director, Mr. Kan Cheok Kuan and Director of Finance and Administration Department, Ms. Grace Cheang to join the meeting virtually.
Due to the ongoing Phase 3A expansion work at Terminal 1, there is change in traffic movement for the vehicles leaving the T1 Departure Ramp from midnight of Monday (September 26, 2022). Any vehicle coming to T1 Departures will have to make a U-turn at the end of the Departure forecourt ramp and exit the terminal through the newly widened up-ramp to take Mehram Nagar Road for their airport exit.
On 9 October when the new METRONET Airport Line opens, the station’s link to the terminals will be via a new pedestrian ‘sky’ bridge which features a unique soundscape as well as indigenous art installations.
The amendments to the existing Map of Restricted Area Order under the Airport Authority Ordinance (Cap. 483), made to reflect the changes in the boundaries of the Restricted Area arising from the latest developments in the facilities of Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) are effective from today. The relevant legislative amendments were gazetted on 25 August 2021.
