The topic of rising airfare trends was one of the focal points of discussions among airport leaders during the Board Meeting of the Airports Council International Asia-Pacific & Middle East (ACI APAC & MID), hosted by Cambodia Airports, in Phnom Penh.
In the first nine months of 2024, Amadeus delivered double-digit growth with enhanced profitability, delivering expanding EBITDA and Operating Income margins. Our Group Revenue increased by 12.6%, EBITDA grew 13.3%1, Operating Income increased by 16.9%1, and Adjusted Profit expanded by 17.4%1, relative to prior year. King Abdulaziz International Airport welcomed the first direct British Airways flights arriving from Heathrow Airport in London. The airline has commenced operations between the two airports with a frequency of six flights per week, providing passengers with additional travel options between the two destinations.
The Three-runway System (3RS) at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) is targeted to be commissioned on 28 November 2024. After the Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) has acquired the aerodrome licence and the 3RS has been commissioned, all three runways will be operating under the 3RS.
Alstef Group is pleased to announce the successful completion of the new baggage handling system at Princess Juliana International Airport in Sint Maarten.
