ACI Asia-Pacific Participates in the European Aviation Climate Change Adaptation Working Group Meeting

ACI Asia-Pacific participated in the European Aviation Climate Change Adaptation Working Group meeting on 17 January, 2023. The event saw participation of experts in the field of  environment, climate change and technical experts from airport operations. At the meeting, the participants engaged in a knowledge exchange session over the latest development of ACI Asia-Pacific’s advocacy in aviation sustainability.

 

On behalf of ACI Asia-Pacific, Ms. Kristy Tan, the Vice-Chair of ACI Asia-Pacific Regional Environment Committee (REC) presented the process and good practices of the Committee making an efforts in development of climate resilience within the industry. The latest Tender Guideline for Climate Resilience & Planning, published by ACI Asia-Pacific, was presented during the meeting.

 

 

The purpose of the European Aviation Climate Change Adaptation Working Group is to provide the European aviation sector stakeholders with a methodology, companion guidance, peer support and good practices on adapting the European aviation sector to the impacts of climate change, with an initial focus on airports. The group comprises experts on environment, climate change, airport operations and subject specific technical experts from airport operators and ANSPs.
