Macau International Airport held the 2023 Airlines Annual Gathering

On 2nd June 2023, Marketing Department (MKD) of Macau International Airport Company Limited (CAM) held the 2023 Airlines Annual Gathering, representatives of airlines operating at the Macau International Airport were invited. Taking this opportunity, CAM extended thankfulness to the airlines for their support to the airport and the tourism market in Macau.

 

With the cancellation of travel restrictions and quarantine measures in various places, the passenger traffic volume of Macau International Airport (MIA) continues to flourish. The tourist season is approaching, MIA is actively expanding more routes. In late June, Royal Air Philippines plans to resume flights between Macau and Tuguegarao, Philippines. Tigerair Taiwan will resume flights between Macau and Taipei, Taichung and Kaohsiung in early July. Air Macau will resume flights to Guiyang; by late July, JejuAir will resume flights between Macau and Seoul and Air Busan will resume flights from Macau to Busan. MIA will maintain close cooperation of various business partners of the airport, to develop more diversified route services. In addition, MIA continues to cooperate with the Macau SAR Government in building Macau into a world center of tourism and leisure, in the meantime, to encourage steady growth of the passenger market of MIA in 2023.

 

Chairman of the Executive Committee of CAM Mr. Simon Chan delivered his speech to extend warm welcome to the guests for taking time to participate in the activity and express heartfelt gratitude. At the gathering, the Marketing team interacted with guests who enjoyed the event. The whole event is in harmonious atmosphere and came to a lively and pleasant end.
