Macau International Airport Renewed ACI’s Airport Health Accreditation

In November 2022, Macau International Airport (MIA) has successfully renewed its Airport Health Accreditation for the 3rd consecutive year, which was awarded by Airport Council International (ACI) in recognition of MIA’s effort in implementation of preventive measures for maintaining safety and public health.

The COVID-19 has brought severe threats to global aviation and unprecedented challenges to boundary’s anti-epidemic works. MIA and its respective service providers are always in compliance with all the health measures enacted by the Authorities. The airport has also established various sets of guidance, protocols and plans that align with industry’s best practice, aiming to operate safely and react fast when dealing with unpredictable circumstances.

The accreditation of Macau International Airport was a concerted effort with all the stakeholders, meanwhile, the airport would also like to express its appreciation to all airport staff for their continuous efforts and professionalism made the renewal of the Airport Health Accreditation possible and smooth. The Airport will continue to provide safe and sanitary environment to staff, citizens, passengers and the community.
