Proposed Industrial Action Has Been Called Off at Brisbane Airport

  • 2022-12-14

In positive news for travellers, proposed industrial action by ISS Security officers and the United Workers Union has just been called off for Brisbane Airport.

Industrial action would have impacted travel plans for thousands of travellers.

This afternoon the union and ISS Security reached an in-principle agreement.

"This is great news for the travelling public who will now be able to continue packing for their Christmas holidays," according to a spokesperson from Brisbane Airport.

Brisbane Airport Corporation would like to acknowledge the important role ISS Security officers play in maintaining safety at our airport, and thanks them for the commitment they display to travellers and visitors to the terminals.
